Do you Direct Bill?
Yes!
I will direct bill your insurance company on your behalf, leaving you to pay only the portion that insurance doesn't cover.
Do you provide a receipt for insurance?
Yes! Following the massage and payment you will automatically be emailed a receipt.
What forms of payment do you accept?
You must have a credit card on file to book a treatment with me. All treatments will be billed using this method unless there is extenuating circumstances, in that case e-transfer or cash can be accepted.
Do you perform DEEP tissue massages?
Great question! I do not consider myself a deep-tissue therapist, my speciality is relaxation. That being said, I do try to give as much pressure as needed (I don't do super light either). For me the best is medium-firm pressure. Honestly if someone is looking for a DEEP tissue massage I will probably refer them to someone else that specializes in that area.
I live in Calgary, will you come to me?
Yes! I am serving clients in the City of Calgary (city wide) at this time. This may change in the future but for now, I will come to you. If you live more than 15 KM away, I would ask if you could, please book at least 90 minutes so it will be worthwhile for me!
I live just outside of Calgary, will you still come?
Possibly! I do have a few clients in Airdrie and Chestermere that I occasionally see. Ultimately, if it's worthwhile for me to come out, I will!
If you have other family members or a few friends you could invite over, I am willing to come out.
Do you massage children too?
Yes! I have massaged children as young as 6 years of age.
Generally, with small children (7-12) I can do a full-body massage in 30 minutes and I will just tack it on before or after the parent(s) massage.
With bigger children / teenagers it will take 45 - 60 minutes and they can be booked and done with or without the parents receiving massages.
It's more based on body size than by age.
Do you massage seniors?
Yes! In fact, I had a regular client in his late 80's. He lived in a retirement home and I was seeing him weekly for several months. I guess the only requirement is that they are able to get onto my massage table and yes I'm very comfortable giving them some assistance getting on and off the table.
When you come to my home, how much space do you need to set up your table?
The table I use is 2.5 feet by 7 feet and ideally, I can walk around the whole table. I have set up in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, up and downstairs in the past without any issues. And luckily have always been able to find a spot big enough to perform the massage.
Do you come to my home for Hypnotherapy as well?
Yes It is possible! As long as it's a quiet setting, away from any distractions such as other people or pets.
What am I suppose to wear for a Massage in my home?
Clients are always encouraged to wear whatever makes them feel the most comfortable. About half of my clients wear underwear and the other half are nude. Proper draping techniques are employed and you should never feel exposed.
What am I suppose to wear for a Hypnotherapy session?
Just like massage, I want you to be totally comfortable during your session. Please wear your most comfy clothes!
